Major Expansion of APP Jet Center Hayward is on Track

$5 Million Project Will Include a New 20,000-Square-Foot Hangar and 3,000-Square-Foot Passenger Terminal at San Francisco-area Hayward Executive Airport

APP Jet Center, an operator of FBOs (Fixed Based Operations) and aviation real estate, is pleased to announce that ground has been broken and construction is on schedule for a major expansion and renovation of APP Jet Center Hayward, its FBO at San Francisco-area Hayward Executive Airport (HWD). The project is expected to be complete by year-end.

APP intends with this development to alleviate hangar overcrowding and better serve its fast growing client base.

The $5 million project will include the construction of a 20,000-square-foot hangar (with 28-foot tall doors) and a 3,000-square-foot passenger terminal. It will also include renovation of APP’s existing 12,000-square-foot hangar and office space complex to which the new 20,000-square-foot hangar will be attached. Design of the project will aesthetically reflect the style of Silicon Valley.

“Hangar space is in high demand at Hayward,” Thom Harrow, chief executive officer of APP Properties, Inc. (parent company of APP Jet Center), said. “We look forward to meeting that demand with this development and offering the best service and facilities to our clients.”
