APP Fort Pierce Celebrates Opening of U.S. Customs Global Entry Program and Renovation of U.S. Customs Facility

APP Jet Center Fort Pierce celebrated the opening of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler / Global Entry Enrollment Center and the reopening of the U.S. CBP facility, both at Treasure Coast International Airport where APP Fort Pierce is based.

The openings were marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house held today by St. Lucie County Commissioners and U.S. CBP.

“APP is located literally next door to the U.S. Customs facility at Treasure Coast,” Christopher Hambleton, general manager of APP Jet Center Fort Pierce, said. “It’s a convenience we’re very pleased to offer our customers.”

The Global Entry Program enables travelers to clear CBP faster, with reduced wait times and no paperwork and processing lines. As a Global Entry member, travelers simply check in at a Global Entry kiosk within the CBP facility and proceed with their plans.

The $2.1 million renovation to the CBP facility included multiple upgrades to improve customer service and safety.

The facility has been named several times as the top airport CBP by Fltplan.com, a pilot survey.
