APP Fort Pierce Assists Animal Rescue Effort

APP Jet Center Fort Pierce was very pleased today to welcome a cargo flight carrying 116 dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters in the Caribbean. Previously scheduled for euthanization, the animals will be taken in by shelters in several U.S. states. This was the first of three rescue flights scheduled by multiple animal care organizations to relieve Caribbean shelters that are overpopulated primarily to due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
