APP Fort Pierce Supports Puerto Rico Pet Rescue Effort

APP Fort Pierce provided hangar space this week for a rescue effort to help stranded animals in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria’s recent devastating blow to the island.

Local pilot Nick Barson, through his organization Pawslanding.org, has donated his plane and time to assist Guardians of Rescue with flying much needed supplies to Puerto Rico then returning approximately 60 dogs to APP Jet Center where they will be greeted by awaiting owners, volunteer veterinarians and rescuers.
