APP Jet Center Fort Pierce Named CAA Preferred FBO

APP Jet Center, an operator of FBOs (Fixed Based Operations) and aviation real estate, proudly announces that APP Jet Center Fort Pierce, its FBO at St. Lucie County International Airport in Fort Pierce, Fla., has been named a Preferred FBO by the Corporate Aircraft Association (CAA).

A CAA Preferred FBO is a combination of good service and fair pricing provided to CAA Members by some of the most qualified personnel and management in the business. Becoming a CAA Preferred FBO is challenging; only 25 percent of FBO applicants are approved by CAA members. CAA only allows one CAA Preferred FBO at an airport.

This latest honor for APP marks the company’s third CAA Preferred FBO status; APP Jet Center Manassas (serving Washington, D.C.) has been recognized as such since 2014 and APP Jet Center Hayward (serving San Francisco, Calif.) earned the title earlier this month.

“Congratulations and thanks to our Fort Pierce team for a job well done,” Chris Hambleton, vice president of APP Properties, Inc., said. “For our service and pricing to be exclusively recognized by CAA indicates that we deliver high quality. Our Fort Pierce operation also offers CAA members the best location for U.S. Customs clearance.”

APP Jet Center Fort Pierce is served by an on-site U.S. Customs station, and clearance there is quicker and easier than at commercial airport locations elsewhere on Florida’s Atlantic Coast.

In 2015 the FltPlan Pilots’ Choice Awards named it the nation’s #1 U.S. Customs point of entry.
