APP Manassas Completes Hangar Expansion
APP Jet Center’s expanded facilities at Manassas Regional Airport (HEF) are complete and available for lease.
Named the Hangar East complex, the expansion includes a new 20,000-square-foot hangar plus 20,000 square feet of renovated hangar space, all of which is heated and features 28-foot doors to accommodate the largest aircraft available.
The project marks another milestone in growth for APP Manassas; in recent years the Company also completed a million-dollar renovation of the FBO terminal, acquired three additional hangars and constructed a 20,000-square-foot hangar.
The Hangar East complex increases APP’s total hangar space at HEF to 250,000 square feet and expands APP’s company-wide portfolio to 700,000 square feet of hangar facilities in its four locations: Denver, Colo.; Fort Pierce, Fla. (Treasure Coast); Hayward, Calif. (San Francisco); and Manassas, Va.
Dan Harrow, APP’s chief executive officer, said: “This expansion enables us to better accommodate our existing customers while extending our reach to a greater number of travelers. We’re very pleased to increase our first-class amenities and services for the DC market.”
APP has ranked first or second among FBOs serving Washington DC, and has also been voted the #1 FBO worldwide for ground service and line operations.
