APP Manassas Supports “Arsenal of Democracy Flyover”

APP Manassas is very proud to have assisted with the staging and fueling of several WWII planes at Manassas Regional Airport (HEF) this week.

The planes were set to participate in today’s “Arsenal of Democracy Flyover” in Washington, D.C., to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II. Due to inclement weather, however, the event was cancelled and a video tribute was held in its place.

The planes staged at HEF include: Two Boeing B-29 Superfortresses; a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress; a Consolidated PB4Y; and a Douglas DC-3.
