U.S. Coast Guard Stages at APP Manassas

APP Jet Center Manassas proudly served as the staging area for U.S. Coast Guard aircraft participating in a flyover of Washington D.C. on June 18, 2016. The flyover was in celebration of the Coast Guard Aviation’s 100th anniversary. It was held in conjunction with the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum Udvar Hazy Center Innovations in Flight Display.

Included in the flyover were MH-65 Dolphin helicopters, MH-60T Jayhawk Helicopters, HC-144 Casa and C-27J Spartan Medium Range Surveillance aircraft, HC-130J Hercules Long Range Surveillance Aircraft, and the C-37 Gulfstream G-5 Long Range Command and Control Aircraft.
